How we pick products for the shelf

We write about indie digital products—templates, packs, guides, tools, and similar goods people actually sell online (often on Gumroad).

What we look for

  1. Clear offer — You can tell what you get and roughly who it’s for.
  2. Real traction signals — Reviews, rankings, or sustained interest—not a zero-context “#1” badge.
  3. Sensible price band — Especially for first-time buyers in a niche.
  4. Formats you can evaluate — Packs, manuals, systems, and tools are easier to compare than vague “courses.”

What this site is not

Some posts include affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission. That never changes the price you pay. See our disclosure.

How this relates to research

Behind the scenes we track public product trends to notice what is heating up. Editorial posts still aim to be readable buyer’s guides—not raw dashboards.
